Every year since 1870, took place in Paris the famous «Concours Général Agricole». The goal of this event is to reward the best products, wine and animals (breeding animals) of France. Every single medal represents an inimitable sign of quality for the producer. However the competition is tough, and the participants numerous. Last year 4 207 products from farm, craft or industrial origin and more than 16 000 wines were submitted to the CGA’s juries.
We are proud to announce that in 2013, the quality and the know-how of Isigny Ste-Mère were rewarded with 7 medals:
-
5 gold medals:
- Pouring Cream UHT (Not available in the US)
-
2 silver medals:
- Extra fine butter or fine unsalted butter.
- Instant dried skimmed milk (Not available in the US)
*In 1986, the Isigny Ste-Mère’s butter was officially recognized as an AOC product (Appelation d’Origine Contrôlée). This label guarantees that our products are made in a specific and defined geographic area (here Normandy) in order to control the quality and the know-how.
